Herbal Dosage Charts

Many times, I have found a proper change in diet to be the remedy for many ailments; however, there are times when an animal needs a bit more. These healing herbs are for such times.

These are the recommended dosage charts for all Healing Herbs. Please read and follow carefully, and remember if in doubt, it is always good practice to discuss dietary changes with your animal practitioner.

Poultry:

To individual birds: Administer at the dosage rates below per hen/roo.

When feeding a flock: Use the charts below to average the entire flock's weight and mix directly in with combined daily ration to ensure all benefit. These are just estimates to provide feeding guidelines only:

Large Adult Animals over 100 Lbs. (not pregnant or lactating):

Herbal Wormer:

Combine with the daily feed ration at the rates below. All measurements are meant to be split between two meals (preferably morning and evening feeding times) for a total of five consecutive days. If worm loads are heavier and you have consulted with your veterinarian, these amounts may be doubled, but please continue to split amounts between two meals.

All other Healing Herbs:

Combine with the daily feed ration at the rates below. All measurements are meant to be split between two meals (preferably morning and evening feeding times). It is recommended and found to be most beneficial if herbs are administered in a cycle of 10 days on; then 5 to 10 days off. This cycle can be repeated as needed.

WEIGHT ...................... TOTAL DAILY AMT.

100 LBS ................................. 1/8 cup

up to 250 LBS ........................ 1/4 cup

up to 500 LBS ........................ 1/2 cup

up to 750 LBS ........................ 3/4 cup

1000 LBS and over ................... 1 cup​
